OUR PASTOR
Fr. Sudhakar Bhastati
Born on September 24, 1980 and ordained January 29, 2009 in India. He came to USA in 2014.
I feel privileged to serve at St. Peter’s Parish Family, which is very traditional, second oldest Catholic Church in Indiana and the only church with a Gold Dome here around. I am looking forward to knowing you by name and being a part of this great community, who are very welcoming and friendly. I am humbled to bring down the blessings and healing of God and above all to make Christ’s presence to you. As is well said, “The Family that prays together stays together.” We are the family of faith, the chosen people of God. Let God be the center of our lives, and He will take care of everything.
God bless you!
The Garden of Sorrow & Joy
The Garden of Sorrow and Joy were blessed and dedicated at St. Peter. This special place is in memory of all our beloved deceased, born and unborn. It is the intent of this place of prayer and memory to deal with grief that we may have suppressed for years but still carry with us. Causing the grief surface again will help us to deal with the circumstances of death in the light of Christ’s promise of life after death. The death of anyone is tragic. It leaves wounds that must heal. Only our hope in the promises of Jesus can help us heal.
